Apple event: iPhone 16 series, Watch Series 10 and other expected launches
Apple will finally take the wraps off its 2024 iPhone series at the September 9 event. As per rumours, there will be four models under the iPhone 16 series – iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Apple is reportedly using an enhanced process for finishing and colouring titanium which may lead to a glossier appearance compared to the brushed aluminum finish of the iPhone 15 Pro models.
The iPhone 16 series will run iOS18 operating system. While two of iPhone 16 series models – iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are said to come powered by A18 Bionic chipset. The Pro models – iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are tipped to come equipped with A18 Pro processor.
While iPhone 16 series will be the major highlight of the Monday event, Apple is also expected to unveil its Watch series 10 along with Apple Watch Ultra 3. It is also expected that the company may bring an affordable third-generation Apple watch SE. In addition, an updated AirPods version – Apple AirPods 4 is also expected.
